I’m devastated to share that my partner, Adam, passed away yesterday after a hard fought battle over the past several weeks.

I want to sincerely thank all of my clients for the incredible kindness, support, and understanding you’ve shown during this time. It has meant more to me than I can express.

As I take some time to be with my family and make arrangements, my availability at the shop will be limited over the next couple of weeks.

We will do our best to remain open during regular hours (2-6 Monday through Saturday). Amy will be available for pickups and basic fittings during this time.

For more involved work such as prom dresses, gowns, or complex alterations, there may be a delay until I am able to return in my full capacity.

Thank you again for your patience, support, and compassion — it truly means everything right now. 💔

🎉 We officially finished the move!

We’re so excited to be in our new shop space! Today we’ll be unpacking and getting everything set up so we can be ready to serve you.

We will be closed today and tomorrow, but I’ll post an update later about opening Wednesday.

Thank you all so much for your patience and support — we can’t wait to welcome you into the new space! ✂️

Hi everyone — I wanted to share a quick update and thank you all for your patience over the past couple of weeks.

Many of you know my partner Adam has been hospitalized, and between spending time at the hospital, the recent snowstorm, and preparing to move the shop, I know I’ve been a little harder to reach and haven’t been in the shop as consistently as usual. I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding while we navigate everything going on.

The shop will still be open daily from 2–6 PM (closed Sundays). Amy will be there from 2–3 PM for pickups, drop-offs, and quick items. I will personally be in the shop from 3–6 PM for anything that requires fittings, consultations, or more detailed alterations (prom dresses, formalwear, etc.).

We’re also in the middle of preparing to move the shop to the new space at 27 Rock St, which should be finished by the end of next week. We plan to move everything next weekend, so the shop may be closed for a couple of days during that transition. I will post additional updates regarding the move once I have an exact timeline.

Thank you again for your patience and support — it truly means a lot. I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone into the new space very soon! ❤️

Still working on getting the snow cleared at the shop.

Since we rely entirely on street parking there is no safe way to have customers park at this time. We hope to resume regular hours tomorrow Friday Feb 27.

Closed again today due to the snow. There is absolutely no where for any one to park to come to the shop. If you have urgent requests please text or call 774-213-1284

Center St is finally getting paved!! So exciting for everyone’s car suspension but it’s going to make getting to the shop a bit tricky for a couple of days.

The road is closed to thru traffic today but if you come from the Middleboro center side or West St you should be able to get through.

It looks like they won’t be getting to the road directly in front of the shop until tomorrow so we may be closed for the day if there is no access. I’ll update tomorrow once we have a better idea.

First off - a heartfelt THANK YOU 🙏 to all of the customers who have been in the past few weeks, could see that I wasn’t feeling well and were understanding and patient as I was forced to triage the work load.

Four years in and I am so grateful for the success of the business and the opportunity to serve an amazing community. It’s been an incredible journey and Ive eagerly bent over backwards to accommodate every order, taking on all kinds of jobs, keeping the prices as reasonable as possible, and generally trying to make everyone happy.

But the old adage is true and I’m learning it the hard way. I have overextended myself for too long and known the burn out coming for a while now 💣 But… I’m stubborn and driven and, instead of stepping back and realigning my priorities to give myself some room to breath, I’ve pushed on until I nearly landed myself in the hospital this week with a severe case of pneumonia. 😳 I’m honestly so used to being exhausted that I didn’t even realize how sick I really was.

So to make a long story short - this is a wake up call‼️I realize that I need to make some changes and focus more on my well-being so that my body will allow me to continue to do what I love and provide my services to the community.

Moving forward there will be some changes to the scheduling - I will still do my best to accommodate everyone, including rush jobs, but there will be limitations.

🧵I will be closing out due dates once they are full based on an 8 hour working day. I will still accommodate another hour or two when I am able for reasonable rush jobs but….

🧵There will be RUSH fees implemented (50-100% of the cost of the alteration) which I hope will incentivize people not to wait until the last minute.

🧵I’m going to give myself a second day off - not sure which one yet but I’m leaning towards Monday. The shop will likely still be open for pick ups and basic fittings but I personally won’t be there.

🧵Im going to prioritize more time with my family. Over these past few years I have missed out on time with loved ones that I can never get back. While it may not be a direct cause of my health issues it has worn me down mentally and emotionally and definitely contributed to the burn out.

I will be doing my best to get caught up over the next couple of weeks but thank you in advance for bearing with me and understanding. All of the love and support means the world to me.✌️❤️🪡
