Ah’V looking sharp in her new SAMSHIELD Miss Shadow Darkline Helmet. She hails out of Five Star Performance Horses, Middletown, CT, under Owner/Trainer Erin Cecchini and Instructor Martina Hild. Ah’V has joined their IEA Team this season and is looking forward to her first IEA Show this upcoming weekend at Mystic Valley Hunt Club. During her helmet fitting, Ah’V shared her insights and goals with me.
“What I love most about riding is bonding with the horses, trying to become one with them, and building trust with the horse as its rider. My riding goals are to have a better seat when cantering, build stamina, keep my feet still in the stirrups on the sitting trot and spend more time learning to jump to improve my skills. I'll be participating in my first IEA Show and I hope to do well to make my team proud, instructors proud, my family and most of all...feel proud of myself. Thank you Ms. Tracey for this awesome helmet fitting!!"
