Because of this incredible community, we collected 184 coats during our January Coat Drive.
These coats are being distributed locally to individuals and families who need them most this winter.
For us, this was simply about doing the right thing and supporting our neighbors in a practical way.
We’re especially grateful for the support and partnership of the Appoquinimink Ruritan Club, the Knights of Columbus and Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce, who helped make this effort even stronger. Community impact happens when organizations work together — and this is a great example of that.
To everyone who donated, shared the word, or encouraged others — thank you. Small acts, done together, make a real difference.

This January, we’re collecting new and gently used coats for kids, teens, and adults in our community who need a little extra warmth this winter.
