In a world full of options, you chose our tiny storefront. You chose a mom chasing a dream. You chose to keep small businesses like ours going.

And for that, I’ll never be able to say thank you enough.

Some days it still feels surreal that this little storefront exists at all.

What started as a dream I carried around for years somehow turned into early mornings unlocking shop doors, online orders stacked on the counter, antique hunts, market weekends, and now… opening the boutique 8 months pregnant with two little girls already along for the ride.

It’s messy and beautiful all at once. There are days I feel completely overwhelmed, days I question everything, and then days like this where I look around this tiny shop in small-town Michigan and remember exactly why I started.

We’re building this slowly, imperfectly, and with everything we have. And somehow all of you keep showing up for it.

If you found us recently, hi. We’re Kindred Shop & Studio — a little boutique in the middle of nowhere Michigan built on big dreams, motherhood, vintage finds, and a whole lot of grit. I’m really glad you’re here.

You guys have kept me so busy lately & I truly don’t think I’ll ever stop being grateful for it.

Every online order that comes through our little shop helps keep this dream alive for our family, and that’s something I never take lightly.

Thank you for continuing to choose our small town storefront time & time again. Whether you shop, share our posts, or simply follow along here — it all matters more than you know.

Now back to work because I’ve got orders to pack + new product to get out on the floor. xx

ok but can we talk about how michigan can’t make up its mind right now…

like one day it’s freezing, the next it’s basically summer — but either way, spring + summer is coming into the shop and I’m not waiting on the weather to catch up

I’ve been really leaning into pieces you can just throw on and go. no overthinking, no full outfit planning. just things that feel good the second you put them on

because honestly… who has time for anything else right now
