Cindy Kay Oglesby departed this life on May 22nd, 2025 in Slaton, TX. She was born to Brose and Angela Oglesby on May 14th, 1952, in Lubbock, TX. Cindy had many passions when it came to helping the ones she cared about. During her lifetime she was a social worker,

It’s with great sadness that we announce Cindy Kay Oglesby has passed away. Thank you all for your prayers over the last few weeks. A memorial service is being planned and will pass that info along when we receive it. Cindy was one of a kind, never met a stranger, talented and loved her family and friends. Hug your friends and loved ones often and let them know you love them, it’s so important.

Hello friends and family. I appreciate your business, the positive reviews and suggestions. 2021 was a year like no other and I pray that you and your loved ones are well. I think it is a natural instinct to emphasize one's physical health over one's mental health. If you are feeling lost, hurt, alone, and/or angry, please reach out to a trusting friend, a favorite aunt, a pastor, and/or a mental health specialist. Please, please do not suffer alone. I think some of us don't allow for enough fun. When is the last time you laughed out loud? I am no scholar, but I have had my share of trauma and can, unfortunately empathize regarding several serious situations. By the same token, my friends literally have saved my life more than once and even recently. I call on my friends regularly for free therapy. I enjoy my little costume business and creating with fabric is my happy thing. Maybe yours is running on the track, digging in the dirt or baking brownies. It's not important what outlet that you choose; just that you pick one! Maybe you've always regretted sitting on the sidelines, living your life vicariously through your "crazy" friends. It's time for you to break out of your mold! Cut yourself some slack! If you need a sexy Valentine look to produce that good feeling or want to plan early for a rocking Halloween costume, give me a call. Just looking through my costume stock, will make you smile and maybe even a belly laugh. Hi, friends and family. I know this is the magic time of year for many of us. This year, my sewing machine is turned off due to a critical illness of a loved one. I am busy caregiving. Prayers and blessings are appreciated. I will let u all know when I resume my little business. Hello friends! I am so sad that the COVID beast seems to have raised his/her nasty head again. I hope all of you are happy and healthy, despite its disastarous antics. Irregardless, it's almost Halloween time and maybe you appreciate, even need some silliness as a diversion. Maybe there's a sexy or scary or storybook look in my costume stock that fits the bill for that party or school event. Drama teachers, you may need me to costume your next competition show so your school can take home that coveted trophy!
