I made this Royal Wulff fishing fly to go with the 11’ rainbow trout sculpture that resides at the in Helena. Originally intended as a wall mount they requested a base for it to display in the bank. I used a piece of cast iron (maybe from a stove?) for the base. Happy with how it turned out.

What do old butter knives, license plates, pipe wrenches, rake teeth, and hinges have in common? …Flowers, butterflies, and dragonflies! I’ve been working on getting my shop cleaned up and ready for Winter and came across some unfinished projects so I put them together in this finished piece.
