On a chilly weekend in January, we ventured up to Millerton to visit our friend Peter for a Sunday sauna session. A true enthusiast and devotee to the art of the steam, Peter recently completed a “Banya” on his property that incorporates his favorite bathing elements from the cultures that share his passion for a sweat. And we thank him for sharing his passion with us.

We recently caught up with our friend and reluctant man about town, Aisa Shelley, at his exceptional Italian all-day cafe, Casetta, on the Lower East Side. It is a fitting venue for our fine Italian Merino Wool Sweater.

We talked movies, music, golf and why the holidays are overrated. Cheer up Aisa, they’re not so bad.
