This is definitely a HOT topic this summer, as we are dealing with droughts but an HOA in Littleton CO is still fining homeowners for brown lawns. What are your thoughts about this ??

My first thought is, a fine is different than a special assessment, but I do hope all homeowners living in an HOA have Loss Assessment coverage to help pay a sudden due assessed by the HOA. A Littleton homeowner told FOX31 that she was threatened with fines for dead grass by her HOA, despite following local watering guidelines under the current drought conditions.
