Walking through the doors of The CR8TV HOUSE yesterday I felt everything that I feel when I’m creating my journals. I felt nostalgia. I felt love. I felt history. I felt creativity. I felt home. It’s a physical space to embrace and create in all of life’s stories and memories. It’s a space for creatives to not only find their voice, but express it.

It’s our pleasure to be donating a portion of our June proceeds towards the 2026 MAKE ART! ARTIST AWARDS AND FUNDRAISER and all that Symphony will continue to build in the future. 🧡

💜Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month 💜

During Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we are raising awareness about a disease that is disproportionately affecting the African American community. African Americans are TWICE as likely to develop Alzheimer’s and other dementias, making education, community support, and research extremely important.

To support the cause, Our Memories Co. is selling one of our most popular shirts for $15 each and donating 50% of all proceeds to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We need show up so that our voices heard and our faces seen, which will help further the research leading to better results for all!

Together, we can help raise awareness, support each other, and work toward a future without Alzheimer’s.

Welcome to June and welcome to Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. 🧠 This month I urge you to get curious about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Do your research, check in on your health and the health of your fellow caregivers and family, get active, eat healthy choices (as best as you can), and challenge your mind with something new.

As a full time caregiver of someone living with this disease, I really want to make sure that those around us are aware and knowledgeable. Over 7 million Americans are living with this, and over 110,000 here in WI aging from 65 and older. Our diagnosis happened YOUNGER THAN 65. Meaning there are many middle aged adults living with this as well, making the age of our family caregivers much younger. We need to make sure that we are being vigilant and actively seeking ways to help in our communities.

We try our very best to make sure that we are giving my mom a happy, loving, and safe environment. She deserves that! It’s our honor to do so. I’m always open to any questions or help in finding resources if you need. You’re not alone in your journey. 💜

Today, I had the honor of receiving this year’s Family Caregiver Award from the ! What an honor to be acknowledged by the organization that leads the way in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

I would love to thank my friend for taking the time to nominate me, and truly see our care journey. Lilo, thank you checking in on us, having an old school playlist queued up, and always holding the space to ask about mom. You’re a real one girl, I love you so much!

Thank you to Diane, for introducing me this morning and saying so many kind words. Your kindness and love has been felt from the beginning on our journey. We love you!

This one’s for me and , the best man I’ll ever know. The one who wakes up everyday and walks this care journey with me. Our well oiled machine doesn’t work without you. I love you babes!

And mom, girrrrrrrl they LOVED your smiled today, and knew I must have gotten mine from you. This little life of ours has been captured in time forever. Our story, our memories, our way. It’s because of you that I know how to care. Thanks for everything. I love you mommy! 💜
