Wowzers - it really echoes in here! A huge thank you to everyone who came out over the weekend to say goodbye and buy awesome stuff! And an extra shout-out to , , , and for making sure every stitch of clothing will find a home - go shop their shops!

As for Ultratwist... we've got some cleaning to do and loose ends to wrap up (anyone need a mannequin or hangers?) and then... well... we shall see! 😘

Huge thanks to everyone that came out to Ultratwist this weekend! 💖 Y'all bought a LOT but after sorting through what was left, we decided there's definitely lots of awesome vintage left so we're giving you one more opportunity to shop!

We will be open on Saturday, October 18th 11a-2p with 70% off everything! But that's it! Saturday is really for real the very last day to shop Ultratwist!

And to answer a few of the questions y'all are asking...

- No, we're not moving (the store nor our family). We freaking love West Allis and Milwaukee; it's home and we're not going anywhere!

- No, I'm not doing online, popups, or festivals. After decades in this business, I'm moving on completely. (Though I might keep an Etsy for random amazing pieces I rescue haha!)

- Yes, another store (not vintage) is opening in my spot - stay tuned for that announcement!

And a note to vintage vendors... If you're interested in a bulk buy of whatever is left after this Saturday send me a DM! I'll be honest and say I will prioritize those of you I know personally. 🥰

Welp! *slaps knees* It's time to go!

They say everything is temporary, though I never thought Ultratwist Vintage would be quite this temporary. But the unfortunate fact is, we can't keep on keeping on anymore. I know a lot of small businesses - from all sorts of industries - are in the same boat right now so I'm in good, albeit sad, company. Ah well, c'est la vie!

This decision has been rather emotional and did not come lightly, and quite frankly... I don't want to talk about it much. It is what it is and life always moves forward. I'm determined to make the best of things and focus on how lucky I've been to have so much fun and meet so many awesome people over the years! We'll be winding things down fairly quickly over the next few weeks so...

If you've had your eye on something - come on in and get it! If it's been awhile since you've shopped with us - come on in and see what's fresh! And if you've never set foot in the store before - come on in and check it out while you can! When it's gone it's gone and when it's over it's over - no time to dilly-dally!

This Saturday, Oct. 4th we'll be open 11-4 with 15% everything in the shop. That includes clothing, accessories, home decor, and tchochkes - I'm even bringing in a bunch of back stock that's been waiting in the wings! And after that... Well, I dunno! Keep your eyes on socials to see what we're gonna do.
