One of the perks of running The Polish Flat on Fratney street is having the biannual Riverwest Rummage Sale just a stone's throw away!

Last Saturday was a blast-- we love our neighborhood! Carting a full shop's worth of trinkets down the street is worth it every time to be able to participate in the community celebration that really is the riverwest rummage sale. It's the best way to start off the summer in Milwaukee-- we love seeing familiar faces and Riverwest characters every time we're there. We love Riverwest ๐ŸŒป

Thanks to Art Bar for always running such a fantastic market. We'll see you in the fall for the next Riverwest Rummage!

These are just some of the whimsical 90's-Y2K pieces we're bringing to the Riverwest Rummage Sale this Saturday 5/30-- our neighborhood's annual outdoor rummage sale has over 225+ flea market vendors set to share their wares over 4 whole city blocks!

A personal fave for me is the "rave city" label on this 90's tank top-- I can totally picture someone from 1997 dancing in this ๐Ÿ˜ญโœจ

At the biannual Riverwest Rummage Sale, you'll find over 220 vendors, 4 blocks of vintage and antiques at rummage sale prices, plus a huge variety of local art, food, plants & music.

It was a real treat having Riverwest photographer Amber Ascher bring her traveling tintype to The Polish Flat for our April vintage market (which also happened to be the busiest market we've ever had!!) A truly magical experience seeing how an 1800's tintype camera worked and how engaged the community was. One person even wore her grandmother's vintage wedding dress for her portrait ๐Ÿฅฒ

If you missed out on one of the sold-out custom portrait slots, we hope to have Amber back again in the future for more tintype photo sessions-- stay tuned for announcements! We'll cherish our own tintype portraits taken in front of The Flat forever โค๏ธ
