And if you’re COMPLETELY new to this, start with a 5K, then do a 10k, then start biking and build up from there. The hardest thing is to make time for it and prioritize it. I try to think about it in terms of your health, what is more important than your health and moving your body? This gives you a reason, a purpose, the extra little kick in the butt you need to get out there.

I should also clarify, I did the triathlon SPRINT- 1/4mile swim, 15 mile bike and 5K run.

MY best advice, do it with friends! That makes it extra fun! 💛

My advice👇

✨What else do you do to make family vacations with littles a success? Comment 👇

👉Lots of beer and cocktails 😎
👉We have a “bend the rules” rule on vacation
👉Have a general plan of what your going to do each day and have this include something kid friendly
👉Pack a bag of toys from home for down time at the hotel. This helps with quiet mornings and wind down if they need it.
👉Mom & dad should share the load.. rotate responsibility so everyone gets a break
👉Break up the day and try to get a little down time before going from one thing to the next
👉Find a hotel/condo with a pool
👉Have a designated “restaurant bag” that you only give the kids when at a restaurant. In the bag have easy toys, puzzles, coloring stuff, stickers and activities they can do while sitting.
