Introducing Woodland Daisy Co
www.woodlanddaisyco.com
Not going to lie, 2024 was a rough year both personally and professionally. After taking some much needed time after the holiday season, I've been reflecting and I realized I wanted a fresh start and to be excited to work on my business, which means some changes are coming for 2025.
First, rebranding + name change
My business is no longer just about scrunchies. It's been growing and evolving the last 6-8 months to include other handmade products. I realized I need to switch it up so I don’t become bored and/or burnt out. Honestly, I’ve been procrastinating making scrunchies in January because I was sick of making them after going nuts for the christmas season.
Why the name change? To reflect that it’s more than scrunchies and no one can say or spell Wanderer.
Second, a website + social media presence
I've been promising a website and/or Etsy for the last two years (I am really sorry about that lol). For the last two weeks, I've been hard at work creating a website and taking advantage of the unusually sunny Oregon January weather, taking product photos with the help of my cousin. A goal for 2025 is to increase my social media presence both on instagram, FB and a TikTok (which my cousin has graciously offered to run for me ‘cause I’m an old fart).
Third, markets + pop-ups
I will still be at markets, don’t worry. However, I've decided to focus more on quality over quantity. Some markets, although I love them, don’t love me or my products (unfortunately), which makes me sad. I've been taking some time to narrow down which ones were ideal for me. It’s also exhausting, running around town and setting up/tearing down a booth 5-7 days a week. Because I was running around, I didn’t have time to really make enough products for every market. I’ll be sharing more on markets when market season starts up in March/April.
Here's to 2025☺️
