Our newest collab is BIG! And launching this week!

Connection and collaboration are two of my biggest motivators, so when Genevieve from agreed to collaborate with me on some prints- I did a major happy dance 💃

We’ve loved creating and collaborating with Mechelle and her amazing organization most recently on these running shorts!

Did you know that Mechelle is a track Olympian?? We’ve been in awe of her drive, passion and determination since we met her 🤩🤩

Story behind the shorts- I developed these based on a request from a local MN high school track team and spent months doing market research to learn what runners needed from their performance shorts.

Fast forward to a tv segment on Kare11 that we were featured in, along side Mechelle and Trackgirlz! We talked for a long time while we were waiting to go live and realized we could collaborate in some exciting ways!

We had a brief foray into making track uniforms for schools, almost taking the business in a completely different direction.... We did an amazing photoshoot with Mechelle and her track girlz, sourced new fabrics and edited designs to be great for the high school age group, spent hours on a catalog and connected with a lot of great high schools! It wasn’t until really sitting down with an athletic director at a hs that we learned the essentials and asked the questions we should have asked from the start (big learning moment for us!) - high schools have a small budget for uniforms, and they need them to last for years (and years and years in some cases) we weren’t cut out to compete with the Jostens in the world. We still believe uniforms need a makeover, especially women’s uniforms that seem to be men’s uniforms slightly altered without an actual woman’s body in mind... but we’ll stay off that soapbox for now ❤️

We’ve been SO inspired by how you’ve all kept going during this pandemic! The fitness industry has definitely been turned upside down and even stronger communities have been created! Shout out to .ride.lift.flow using these tanks to celebrate their team!!

And now for one of my favorite product stories ✨ This tank was originally designed as a full length tank (not crop) and we had done a photoshoot with the original version and it was AWKWARD at that length. I was going to dump the style and then I had an impromptu product meeting with the retail buyer from LIFETIME (yes that was a huge deal for me!!) and she tried on a bunch of our product, gave us glowing reviews and a few little tweaks that she would suggest. One recommendation was this tank would look great as a crop! And she was SO right!! It’s been one of our best sellers since the day we launched it!

Why does this tank work so well? The fabric is semi-sheer and light weight, but still great quality (it’s a linen/poly blend), the cut is flattering without being too revealing in a workout class and you can tie it in a knot behind you if you want it tighter! Did I mention it’s comfy ✅ Try it for yourself 😘😘
