Before our suits go into full production, they start as something much smaller. A sample, sewn entirely by hand by a local sewer right here in our Minneapolis community. 🧵

This is what slow fashion actually looks like. Not a buzzword, not a label. It’s someone in our city, at a table, with fabric and thread, making sure that what you’re going to wear this summer is exactly what it’s supposed to be. ❤️

The Capri bottom is a 90s-inspired high-cut with a modern fit. Built-in flex elastic in every seam keeps them in place all day, while the waistline and high-cut leg hit right at your natural hip to actually flatter your curves instead of fighting them.

Today, the world lost an icon. 🤍

Dolly Parton was so much more than the rhinestones, the music, and that unmistakable voice. She was a woman who built a life entirely on her own terms and never made herself smaller to make anyone else more comfortable.

She was bold without losing her softness. Powerful without losing her kindness. Unapologetically feminine, wildly ambitious, endlessly generous, and completely, unmistakably herself.

Dolly showed generations of women that you can dream big, work hard, take up space, wear the damn rhinestones, and still lead with an enormous heart.

She gave back. She lifted people up. She made people laugh. She believed in the power of education and opportunity. And through it all, she stayed true to who she was. Her philanthropy, including her extraordinary commitment to children’s literacy through the Imagination Library, became as much a part of her legacy as her music.

At Wild Isles, we have always believed there is something powerful about a woman who knows who she is and refuses to apologize for it.

Dolly embodied that.
