Celina Kane is HAT MAKE - A brand of couture hats that is equal parts minimalist and surrealist, geometric and whimsical. The hats are composed of a variety of de luxe materials including 100% angora rabbit fur felt, silk, velvet, fox fur from Northern Minnesota, wool, straws, and high quality trims. I make each one entirely by hand, starting on hand scuplted hat blocks and finished in my Minneapo

lis studio. Hats are about fantasy and mystery and romance– a big floppy brim makes each glance from beneath seem like a brief romance with the outside world, or a flirtatious fascinator breaks the ice at any party and lets you become someone else.

This past March marked my 10 year business anniversary since I launched Hatmake. That passage of time has been marked by 20 collections large and small, over a thousand pieces sold, and countless collaborations, friendships and experiences that I would never have had without this practice.
