We are a 77 year old (five generation) family owned optical shop, located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Moss first started the Optometry practice in back in 1935 in the back room of the State Jewelers which was located right next to the Historical State Theater on Hennepin Avenue. Although close to it's original location, Moss Optical now resides on the skyway level of the LaSa

To align with the current culture of downtown Minneapolis businesses, we have decided our permanent hours will now be Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00 and Friday 8:30-2:00. We look forward to accommodating all your eye exam and eyewear needs within our new hours!

So our staff can get the most out of our short Minnesota summer, we have decided to implement new summer hours. Monday through Thursday stay the same, 8:30-5. Friday hours will be 9-2:30! Have a great summer!☀️
