Moss Optical Eye exams, contact lens fittings, glasses, contacts & more! Welcome to Moss Optical! The legendary George O. service come on in, and let us style you!

We are a 77 year old (five generation) family owned optical shop, located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Moss first started the Optometry practice in back in 1935 in the back room of the State Jewelers which was located right next to the Historical State Theater on Hennepin Avenue. Although close to it's original location, Moss Optical now resides on the skyway level of the LaSalle Plaza Building, and is currently owned by Dr. George Moss' Grandson, Kevin Moss. So, if you are looking for a fantastic optical shop that can present you with all kinds of fabulous eyewear options, and SPECT-a-cular (Sorry, I couldn't resist....) We also do exams if you need to get those beautiful 'peepers' of yours checked out!!
