Someone recently asked me “what the heck is 412?”
I laughed and said it’s the address. Of the building.
412 3rd St NE
Some see the building when driving by and wonder what’s inside and I haven’t been the best about explaining that.
I got to thinking, 412 started out as a little store to showcase some of my creativity, sell some vintage goodies and sell some of my friend’s creations. Over the past few years we have been open occasionally for our little pop up sales and it’s been so fun getting to create this little space. It’s also been challenging in lots of ways too.
One thing that stays the same is I love creating wonderful spaces for people to join, feel comfortable, feel loved and welcomed while being inspired. I have always strived to create a fun, inspiring home on a budget for over 30 years. I have been repurposing items, finding cool treasures, going to auctions, estate sales, thrift stores and junk sales looking for all of the pieces to create a unique home for myself and for my family. I love bringing that idea to people. Inspiring them to create a home on a budget, a home that makes them laugh or creates a smile from a memory. Creating a warm, cozy, loving home that inspires peace and creativity is something that I truly am passionate about and I want to continue that with 412.
