Yes, it was Mother's Day 🌷
But it also was Teacher's Appreciation Week last week 🍎
I also had pop ups on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of last week.
Along with back to back the previous Friday and Saturday.
I somehow made it through the week, and finished last night as I took my mom and mother in law to dinner, just the three of us as usual 💕
What a week, but how lucky am I to be invited to all these pop ups in May, with the last one ahead of me.
Truly grateful for the love and support we receive as these events. It's the best feeling to meet returning customers that trust your taste, style and fit and purchase outfits after outfits that are recommended.
I am officially falling asleep as I'm writing this, yet I still have boxes of merch to open, so adios!

As a shop owner for quite some time, answering the same questions for quite some time, I figured it'd be smart to just list them down here!
FAQ 👇
* Yes, we are still have our brick & mortar.
* No, Costa Mesa shop was closed 6 years ago when Laelle turned 1 (yes, it's been that long)
* No, my website is not up to date because I have zero time to sit and update small batch designs
* No, it won't be available "online"
* If you see it and like it, just buy it now, save the time from messaging me if it's "online"
* Yes, DM and purchase (it's so fast and easy, those who do it all the time know!)
* Yes, DM and ask to hold to come try on in person (I hold for only 2 business days)
* Yes, you can buy at pop ups and bring it back for an exchange just like you would at the shop (no refunds ever, never have and never will)
* No, the jewelry you see at pop ups do not exist at the shop
* No, the dress you are holding at my pop up as we speak is not at the shop. It's now or risk it for later.
* Yes, they are "handmade" not by me

Lastly, your answer to "where are these made?"
My answer is; You know, I carry a couple hundred different styles at the shop. As knowledgeable I am with my product (fabric, fit, etc) I do not memorize which country every single style is made.
Unfortunately, almost everything you are using at home, and buying on Amazon is from China. And so are most clothing manufacturers. In fact, my Mercedes is made from parts from China. I hope you understand this. I do try to carry particulars styles from Korea, Italy & of course the US. But the truth is

I hope we were able to bring lots of new familes and friends that do not know Jesus, the Good News on this special day!
The shop will be closed today, as I hope even those who are not church goers, would make a visit today to learn the reason we celebrate Easter 💕

With all being said, it's finally Spring Break for Laelle, and we are off to Tahoe for a week, tomorrow. The shop will resume on Thursday, and I won't be back myself till the following Thursday!

Idk how many of you working moms are out there.
But being one ain't easy.
I never wanted to be a sahm. I never wanted to pursue a good college only to stay home with the kids.
This might throw off so many of you, but it's because I had a sahm myself.
I grew up asking her everyday, "what do you do for work?" At that time, I don't think I appreciated her being home, cooking me meals, taking me to every after school activity you can imagine, picking me up exactly on time, and the list goes on.
But again, I never thought she was a superhero for what she did.
I thought my friends who's mom worked and owned businesses were awesome.
So fast forward 25+ years, most of my friends, me included, with mom who were sahm, work.
Most of my friends who had working moms are a sahm.
How we grew up reflects so much of us right now.
There's no right or wrong, but I can look back to give all the appreciation my mom deserves, raising me in Irvine 30+ years ago as a minority.
The mom that made sure I attend every after school activity, learning just about everything, whilst making me maintain second chair first violin, but also making sure I get into Parsons with the worst SAT score ever scored by any Asian in Irvine, all while playing golf and showing up on time during pick up.
She was the real super hero. Something I cannot do and refuse to sacrifice my life over.
All the thanks to my mother who sacrificed 20 years of her life for me and is again, this time, as a grandmother.
So if you are new here, and wonder why I always make and create more "work" in addition to my already chaotic life, now you know 💛

The kind of items I'm always obsessed with are relaxed bottoms that suit my thunder thighs, white tops with details that make it "different" from the other 82993 white tops I own, quality leather handbags that aren't designer, & shoes of color ❤️
I'm also an advocate of "more the better" when it comes to jewelry, as always ✨️

We took these photos before opening the last order dates for the Italian Handbags. This was a new style I had been meaning to share for Spring, only to find out that Italy was already closing up on accepting orders on this particular bucket bag for the Spring Season, with only the color Navy left..
Good news? Well some of you were able to secure the navy & I have ordered their new styles to sample them before I show them to ya!
Bad news? This beautiful handbag in eggshell is no longer available, at least not for Spring..

But keep an eye out! As we open the order dates for the Italian Handbags for only a few days to maximize faster shipment & distribution!
