We need volunteers!

We need help setting up for our Back to School Bash on Tuesday, and we need help at the Bash itself on Wednesday! If you are available, please use this link to sign up for a slot. And please share with anyone else who might be interested! Thans for helping to nourish our community.

Join us at EmPower Place on Wednesday, August 19th from 10am-1pm for our annual Back to School Bash. We will have new school supplies, used clothing, sack lunches for kiddos, and partner organizations coming in to share other awesome resources, like vaccinations and vision screenings.

You do not need to sign up in advance, just pop by.

We are so excited to nourish community through this event, but I know not everyone can make it and supplies are limited. There are a lot of other places to get school supplies and other needs as the new school year draws near. Feel free to post other resources and events in the comments. By working together, we can make sure every child has their needs met. Thank you!

EmPower Place is located at 1720 Wyoming St in Missoula next to Missoula Food Bank & Community Center.

Hear ye hear ye! Prithee join us for an EmPower Place Renaissance Fair. How thee hither to EmPower Place July 31st 10am-1pm for medieval activities, crafts, food and fun.

Princess story time will happen around 11:30 and King Perry’s wedding will take place closer to noon. But things may change slightly. You can arrive as early as 10- there will be plenty of fun to be had. But it would be best to arrive no later than 11 if you are specifically come for the stories or royal wedding revelry.

EmPower Place Summer Club sign ups have begun! This is a free summer program for 8-13 year olds that takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. You can sign up for a week at a time- picking the themes and activities that fit your child’s interests and schedule. Anyone wanting to participate must reserve a spot in advance- space is limited.
