This is harder to write than I thought it would be… but after a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to officially close Darling Doe Designs. 💔
This little business started on my dining room table in our tiny apartment with one small machine and a big dream…one I thought would never be possible. Over the years, it’s given me the gift of staying home with my kids. I’ve never had to miss a milestone, a giggle, or a snuggle, and that’s something I’ll be forever grateful for. It’s supported my family, connected me with the most amazing people, and helped me grow in ways I never could’ve imagined.
I am so proud of myself for building this incredible business completely from scratch..turning an idea into something real, something that reached over 50,000 orders and had my creations in over 14 other countries. Every single one meant the world to me.
But as much as it hurts to let go, The Blush Hut has completely captured my heart and taken over my time. From the trailer itself to wholesale, Etsy, and all the bookish magic that fills my days now. Books have always been such a huge part of my life, and the passion I feel for The Blush Hut outweighs everything else.
Even though change is hard (and it truly feels like a little piece of my heart is missing), I know this is just the next chapter. I’m endlessly proud of how far Darling Doe Designs has come and so grateful for everything it’s given me. Thank you, truly, for loving my little business as much as I did. Here’s to new adventures and chasing new dreams. 🥹🫶🏻
