This will likely be our last post. 😢 but I couldn't not share this adorable winnie the pooh blanket I finished today. Remember, if you want anything custom done, feel free to message me Hannah Eilis, I would love to work with you. ❤️

Have a beautiful fall day lovelies.

My friends, I am heartbroken to announce this, but I will be removing our shop from facebook by October 30th. Facebook has changed the privacy rules so that all media, especially that of businesses, will be fed to their new AI model. I have already received 2 notifications from customers that my voice and my work is already being turned into AI fake ads, and 1 person almost bought it.

I refuse to feed the monster.......and I hope this is the right decision......but I have decided to move to an in-person model for the foreseeable future. I will still take custom commissions on my personal page, Hannah Eilis, so if you want something made I'm still your girl! But this page will be gone......and I won't be able to share my work on facebook anymore. I'm sorry.......I'm not sure what to say.

Well, except this. Thank you. Thank you each and every person who has followed this page, who has bought any of our work, thank you. We put love into every single stich and ingredient we used.

Cactus Shepherd Crochet will continue on, but offline for now.

Today's work so far! In between a family walk and naptime. Time to go bathe the dogs, and then its back to work after dinner. I'm hoping to finish 6 squares today, and sew them in to boot. We'll see how close I get!

And here is the rush order blanket all finished and already in the mail! It is an adorable blue polar bear pattern. I just love this one; what do you think?

This one features a double border that I think is so classy as well.

We've got another bear blanket in the works!!! This one is Winnie the pooh inspired. ❤️

Ugh, this is the last square for the bear blanket, and I ran out of yarn. Seriously?

Its okay though. I live right next to the yarn store, so I'll pop over in the morning and pick up 1 more skein. I was just really hoping I had enough to finish tonight. Oh well. Tomorrow, the squares will be done, and then I just have to assemble and edge!

Okay, so, I messed up.

If you have ever worked with me as an artist, you know I send tons of progress photos. Not just because I want you to know I am working on your project, but also because I want to know your thoughts and that you are still in love with how it looks.

I didnt do that with this last project; another bear blanket. And I had it almost completed before I sent a progress photo, and the customer wasn't feeling it. And that is totally, 100% my fault; I should have been checking in. So, what to do?

Start over of course! A fresh color pallet, a new design, and this polar bear blanket is flying along. The deadline will be tight on this one, but I have a very strict schedule for myself and I WILL get it done.

Because at the end of the day, I don't want you to just like your custom artwork. I want you to love it with your whole heart. You are paying good money for a one of a kind piece, and I won't rest until you are completely satisfied. I am a perfectionist at heart, so I want it to be perfect for you. ❤️

Y'all have a blessed day.

So, I have waiting a while to share the completed bear blanket because I wanted to make sure the customer loved it. But I can finally share it here, in all its glory. She chose a beautiful scalloped edge for it. I put well over 100 hours of work into it, but it came out so special. ❤️

So what do you think? Do you like it?

09/24/2026

Aaand here is batty number 3! I went for a soft goth look with this girl, pairing classic black with a gorgeous soft burgundy and a rose pink. What do you think? Not gonna lie, she might be my favorite so far.

And here is bat number 2! The opposite of her sister. Which do you prefer? White and blue, or blue and white?

Btw, both girls are looking for homes for 18 apiece; they also each come with a seasonal rock carving to help get you in the spooky season mood! It may be 90 degrees out, but we can celebrate fall in our hearts and homes. Lol.
