It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Assistant Fire Chief (Ret.) Casey Piazza. Assistant Chief Piazza fought a long and courageous battle against cancer with the same strength and determination he showed throughout his service to our department and community.

Brother, your watch is over. We'll take it from here. Rest easy.

Please keep the Piazza family, his friends, and all who had the privilege of serving beside him in your thoughts and prayers.

Last night 1-800-Boardup of Mobile Metro was able to provide Victim Assistance to a family of 6 in Pensacola, FL. The Pensacola Fire Department did a great stop on this home. Red Ross arrived and helped the family as well. Cleanup and repairs have already began to get this family back in their home. No one was home at the time of the fire but 2 canines were rescued.

This week we have the pleasure of working with Mobile Fire Rescue. They have a Jr. Firefighter’s Academy. Today 1-800-Boardup of Mobile Metro provided and cooked Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for the kids and staff! Thank you Mobile Fire for allowing us to be part of the Academy!

Today 1-800-Boardup of Mobile Metro had the pleasure to help out Ocean Springs, MS. Fire Department with their Fire Hounds Kids camp by supplying water, Powerade and pizza!
