Elegant Beginnings (EB) is a specialty bra shop in Mobile, Alabama, created to fill a special need for women around the world. This includes ladies who have had a mastectomy, as well as full busted/full figure women who cannot find a bra to fit in any department store. Elegant Beginnings owner, Ellen Moses, is a board certified fitter (CFm), certified by the
strongest certification company in the

nation: The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics, Inc. Elegant Beginnings will stock several prosthesis designs and will have the ability to handle special order needs for ladies whose chest walls require a special prosthesis. In addition, EB will also meet a need of the surgeons by offering a “postop” kit, which will be prepared for their patients
prior to surgery. And finally, Elegant Beginnings, above all, will offer women with mastectomies, something more than money can buy – a place where they will find strength, encouragement and caring, with every employee focused on meeting their special needs.

Elegant Beginnings (EB) is a specialty bra shop in Mobile, Alabama, created to fill a special need for women around the world. This includes ladies who have had a mastectomy, as well as full busted/full figure women who cannot find a bra to fit in any department store. Elegant Beginnings owner, Ellen Moses, is a board certified fitter (CFm), certified by the strongest certification company in the nation: The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics, Inc. Elegant Beginnings stocks several prosthesis designs, and handle special order needs for ladies whose chest walls require a special prosthesis. EB has a wide selection of mastectomy bras. EB also has a “post-op” kit for ladies prior to surgery. The post-op garments provide comfort, style, puffs, and drainage bags. This garment is billable to insurance as a separate item the day of surgery and does not count as the patient’s annual bras allowable. And finally, Elegant Beginnings, above all, will offer women with mastectomies, something more than money can buy – a place where they will find strength, encouragement and caring, with every employee focused on meeting their special needs.
