Mobile Mystics The standard for Mardi Gras since 1993!

The Mobile Mystics Mardi Gras organization was founded in May of 1993 with hopes of having a Mardi Gras parade in the 1994 Mardi Gras season. The charter membership was comprised of 52 members who quickly obtained use of Mardi Gras floats from another organization and made plans to stage their first parade. Upon hearing word of the city’s refusal to grant a parade permit, the theme of the ball for

1994 was quickly named “DAMN THE PERMIT-FULL SPEED AHEAD”.The Inaugural Ball was held at the Mobile Convention Center on Wednesday, February 9, 1994. This was the first Mardi Gras ball held in the new facility and continues to be the home of the Mobile Mystic’s Annual Ball.

What an unforgettable afternoon celebrating Queen Ravyn at the Mobile Mystics Queen Coronation! Seeing family, friends, and our entire Mardi Gras community come together to share in this incredible milestone meant the world to us.

Thank you to every single person who came out to celebrate, brought their energy, and helped make the evening so magical. From the pageantry to the shared laughter and memories, it was a night we will always cherish. We are so proud of Queen Ravyn and cannot wait for an amazing season ahead!

💰 It’s time to win some money!

Join the Mobile Mystics for the Annual Summer Blowout Drawdown on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at The Locale, located at 4128 Government Boulevard.

🎟️ Tickets are $125 per couple and include food and drinks while supplies last, a DJ indoors, live music on the back deck, and a raffle.

🚪 Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
💵 The drawing begins at 7:00 p.m.
