Full Job Description
We are seeking fun, high-energy Retail Sales - Tanning Consultant and Custom Spray tan Technicians (3 to 4 positions available) to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue. We're looking for the perfect fit to our new start-up salon. All applicants should have some sort of relative experience working in a sales-like position, be and have confidence in a product sales/service sales position. You will be an expert in the industry, so it will require a lot of service and product knowledge. Studying is a must!
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time. Long term employment with advancement opportunities
Pay: $12.00 - $50.00 per hour (includes average tips) + Monthly Bonus & Commission pay
Qualifications and Skills:
Stellar customer service with a bubbly personality is REQUIRED!
Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions closely
Friendly & supportive attitude with great work ethic. Team Player
Must be comfortable standing, bending, moving for long periods of time. Ability to lift 25ish lbs.
Punctual, dependable transportation. Reliable attendance
Ability to build rapport with customers. Strong negotiation skills
Self-driven to achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales goals
Be willing to study services and products to ensure a high level of education behind the counter
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment during season
Responsibilities and Duties:
Cleaning & organizing duties are mandatory & a huge part of the JOB
Welcome and identify customer needs. Explain products and services to customers
Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
Enter and process customer sales
Maintain hospital-grade cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints/concerns
Willingness to continue to learn additional products/services as we continue to grow

Schedule:
• Flexible schedule
• 5- or 9-hour shifts (flexible schedule). Seasonal Business Hours
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends and nights HOLIDAY availability required (alternated)
Experience:
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, preferably in the beauty or fashion fields
• Tanning or spray tanning as a client or employee: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cashier and computer proficiency: 1 year (required)
• Familiar with setting & reaching personal sales goals: 1 year (Preferred)
