Ok Revelers, with Mardi Gras upon us we feel it is our duty to once again provide you with a PSA about purchasing your gown for the big night - or “nights” for those of you with energy and no children!
Please, please look at the care label before purchasing. Many dresses are now considered “one and done” due to the inability to clean. “Spot clean only” is your warning sign! Those sequins are going to show up beautifully on your social media page, but may not hold up in cleaning if they are glued on. And as always, polyester is your friend!
For the gentlemen, Francia’s Formalwear has you covered. Stop in to see Carmen, Lillie and the gang for your costume de rigueur! You can’t let the ladies out-class you!
Stay safe - have fun - and while it may seem like a good idea at the time, going full speed down Dauphin St in a gown on a scooter is never going to end well! (But be sure to have someone video it for us!)
