Attention Everyone! We have started a waiting list for the Pleater and Knit class at the shop!!! You need to call the store and leave your name and interest!!!

From start to finish! They went home with their smocked bibs and the smiles on their face illuminated the confidence and new or polished skills. So proud of them! Smocking all day Saturday! Can't wait to see their next projects. 😍

Oh my goodness!! 15 new knit prints coming in!!!!! The problem, which one to make up first!!! New prints for convention!!!! More notions, made up some more wool pressing cloths, just need to package them up! MORE BIBS FOR SMOCKING SAMPLER CLASS THIS SATURDAY!
Had some great help hemstiching blankets, bibs, and burp pads today.

What a wonderful weekend, with a great group of ladies! Friends were made!! A two day intensive class of sewing techniques for heirloom sewing! We are done today, we covered, perfect puffing, double needle corded and shadowed, roll hemming, roll scallop edges, shell stich piping, pin stitching, double pin stitching, hemstiching, lace shapping, lace metering, and learned tuck placements and executions! And was just today! Everything practiced, notated and logged into a forever notebook!! This is a machine mastering course in heirloom sewing!

"Pleater class", all went home with alot of training and alot more confidence! All pleaters cleaned , lubricated and working great! They learned that it is nearly impossible to break a pleater only needles! Yet no one broke a needle!! They worked with seams, patterns in fabrics, gingham, hard to pleat fabrics, and identify the grain in fabrics by marking and just a careful eye! I give these ladies a Gold Medal!!!
