This warmer weather in NE Tennessee has given me energy! It has also reminded me that festivals, craft fairs, outdoor concerts are just around the corner. This week's creations are for the fun-loving Curvy Gals like me. Both pair of jeans are a size 16 stretch and have been made using thrifted jeans and pillow shams along with some of my left-over quilting fabric. Today's additions to my Shop are 3 fun "Shackets" (shirt jacket). "Go Your Own Way" is brightly colored with a ruffled denim trim - size Medium (who doesn't love a quote from a Fleetwood Mac song). The denim one was made from combing a recycled denim shirt and a recycled gray sweater. It has appliques that include L O V E and a heart on the front and a Peace Sign on the back. It is a size XL. The brown and peach colored Shacket has the collar, cuffs, and bottom hem removed and retrimmed using yarn. A doily adorns the front and the back has a butterfly made from the bottom seam.
