Story behind the brand...
Our beloved son, Christopher, poured his heart into chasing his dream in the fashion world beginning in his freshman year of high school. He partnered with friends on a few clothing projects, but deep down, he yearned to create something that truly captured the essence of who he was. He wanted to surprise us with it all when the time was just right, but at only 18, mere months before he would have walked across that graduation stage, our sweet Christopher was called home to Heaven ahead of us. In his honor, to keep his light shining bright and his memory alive in our hearts forever, we’re carrying his vision forward and sharing it with the world.
Christopher's peers said he chose his brand name carefully. We believe he chose “ARMAGEDDON” because of his profound fascination with ancient history and the epic battles that shaped it. We’re not sure if the Biblical roots inspired him directly, but what we know in our souls is that God gently guided his hand to that name above all others. Choosing the name "ARMAGEDDON" gave this project clear direction, allowing us to share scripture and imagery from The Book of Revelation with everyone.
The Book of Revelation in the New Testament is a powerful prophecy of Jesus and His triumphant victory over evil and death. As Richard Bauckham so wonderfully puts it, “Revelation provides a set of Christian prophetic counter-images which impress on its readers a different vision of the world…The visual power of the book effects a kind of purging of the Christian imagination.”
Armageddon, the biblical hill of Megiddo, is the sacred ground where the final battle between good and evil will unfold. Every design we create will draw from these profound themes, and we pray they’ll be pieces Christopher would look down on with that big, proud smile of his. Diving deeper into scripture has ignited a fire in us. We’re learning so much, and it fills our hearts with joy that his brand has sparked this deeper curiosity and closeness to God.
This journey with his dream has become our lifeline amid the ache of grief, giving us purpose and a way to feel Christopher’s presence every single day. We love him and miss him with every beat of our hearts SO incredibly much. We find the strength to carry on with his brand by leaning on God and drawing comfort from the many prayers and support of those who love us and love him.
