New shirt preview. I know I do a lot of football shirts, but we sure do love our Green Machine! This will be design 1 of 2 released this season.

The other one is also coming this week (and will be sweatshirt only)!

I strive to come up with unique ideas that capture our community spirit and fit my personal style vibe , and use the funds to be able to invest back into the teams that I'm making shirts in support of. 💚💛

This design is direct to garment (DTG) printed, a Soft feel because the ink soaks into the fabric instead of sitting on top like a pressed graphic. Not the same sublimation process as the Varsity G tees either (so there will NOT be the extra laundry process to remove any production odors 🙃). While I've offered both, I tend prefer the multi-color and more complex graphic availability of the DTG. I used a local girl, who I adore, for the recent sublimation tee order, but going back to my OG supplier for this tee, as we have had so much design success together in the past. I'll still be using my local gal for other offerings, but she doesn't currently offer DTG.

Quick care tips for your G sublimation tee! ☀️

If your shirt has an odor when you first receive it, that's temporary and can happen during the printing process with the setting spray that is used to set the ink.
Here's what we've found works best to freshen it up:

• Soak overnight in a mixture of HOT water and white vinegar. (Super wash soda powder works too)
• Wash as usual with your favorite laundry detergent, persil works really well for odors unless you're an aunatural detergent person.
• Hang outside in the warm sunshine for a day or two.
This is key and should be done on repeat! 🔑

The fresh air and warm sunshine make a huge difference, and your shirt will smell fresh and ready to wear.

**Please avoid putting the shirt in the dryer until the odor is gone, as heat can make it linger longer, and the soaking process would need to be started over.

The vintage Varsity shirt arrived lickedy split!
NOTE: every shirt is unique due to the sublimation printing process- you won't find two exactly the same! Wash inside out with cold water and dry on low heat. The shirt will continue to gain that "worn in" look as the wears/washes happen but that treatment will better preserve the printing life.

If you live in country manor or on dragonfly Lane, your orders are in your mailbox. If you don't live there, check your messenger inbox as pick up notices for the gym and my hazelwood porch have been sent.

I also accidentally sent a delivery notice on messenger to a group chat of like 100 people from like 10 years ago. So if you were in that, also sorry. I went ahead and showed myself out and removed myself from the chat. 🫠

PS: I also don't normally deliver local orders because it really takes a long time to make all the stops, but I made an exception today. You're very welcome to those lucky houses who received that service. 😆

Time to open up this varsity vintage inspired tee for the first round of pre-orders.
This will be a sublimation tee, which means that basically the design is dye printed onto the the fabric, which makes it soft and smooth and really wears amazing and kinda fades into a more worn-in look/feel. (Like the popular football tees I had the last year or so).

S-3X available in the hanes comfort wash, 100% cotton tee (preshrunk). $32

I’m in my “porch flowers are fake but everything else is real” era.

There’s something about your mid-forties where a quiet shift happens. The kids don’t need you in the same way—they’re building lives, making decisions, needing less managing and more trusting. Meanwhile, parents might start needing a little more of you. It’s this strange, tender middle space of letting go and leaning in… all at once.

You stop performing. The friendships that weren't that deep? Gone. The pressure to look a certain way, keep up, impress people you don’t even like? Also gone. You find yourself craving the real stuff—real conversations, real laughter, real connection. That stuff sticks without a lot of effort.

The greys show up and honestly… so does the freedom.

Also:
• I wear my glasses more because my eyes are tired
+I still hate putting on real pants and makeup is a close second these days. Hardly wear it anymore.
• I have a favorite burner on the stove (right front)
+Still crave and thrive on alone time
• I will absolutely cancel plans and feel zero guilt
+My idea of the best weekend ever is not setting an alarm

This version of life? Feels more like me than any other one has.
