Allow this Crab Platter to charm her way onto your dinner table!!!
I had the honor of purchasing this beauty from the 4th generation owner!
She said it had been in her family her whole life of 60+ years, so that dates it to at least 1965
The platter is marked ITALY on the bottom, dating back to the mid-20th century, 1950-1960’s

The image depicts a Majolica Faience large lettuce and crab serving platter!

This type of pottery is known for its vintage appeal, with similar items dating back to the 1920s.
It is often associated with Palissy-style Majolica ware, a type of European pottery inspired by the work of 16th-century French potter Bernard Palissy. The crab and lettuce design is a popular motif for Majolica serving platters and dishes. The piece is made of glazed ceramic and is signed Italy.
