Bottoms Up

Bottoms Up Bottoms up is a gadget that fits almost any shape bottle & almost any size to help you get every las And having 3 kids, I needed to get every last drop out. YAY!

Hi Everyone,

I'm Melissa Whitney and the inventor of a little gadget I call Bottoms Up. I came up with the idea because I needed to get the last little bit of shampoo and conditioner out of the bottom of my bottles. Throwing away that last 1/2 inch was just throwing away money! So, like everyone else, I would lean my nearly empty shampoo bottle upside down in the corner of the bath tub or use oth

er bath bottles to prop it up and hope that it wouldn't get knocked over. But, inevitably, it would. By the kids playing in the tub or by turning on the shower. ARRRG! SUPER frustrating! Then there's the smacking the top of the bottle in the palm of my hand trying to get the last of the shampoo but most of it just stuck to the sides of the bottle. Sound Familiar? I needed something to hold my bottle upside down and in place, soooooo, 15 years ago at my kitchen table I came up with Bottoms Up. Well, the first one was pretty crude but it worked! Since then I've improved the design but the results are still the same. I get all the shampoo out and I don't have to worry about the bottle getting knock over. When I jump in the shower in the morning my flipped over bottle will still be flipped over. I get one more shampoo out of it, maybe two! and without pounding the bottle in my hand. OH! then I realized I could stick it in the fridge and do the same for the ketchup bottle (and heaven forbid I should run out of ketchup with 3 kids! ), or the mustard, or any condiment bottle and they wouldn't fall over while shutting the refrigerator door. Now I use it for my laundry soap, dish soap, all the bottles I want to get that last little bit out of. I think everyone should be able to flip their bottles over and get all the product they paid for! I get the last dose of medicine, serving of dressing, my daughter even gets the last of her foundation out of those little tiny bottles. Super easy to use. Just lick it, Stick it, and Flip it. And when you're not using your Bottoms Up, it stays where you stuck it, rolled up and out of the way. It fits around any shape bottle and virtually any size. It's GREAT! It saves MONEY! That's when I knew I needed to find a way to bring Bottoms Up to everyone, so EVERYONE could save money! I did start out slow but with some hard work, guidance and encouragement from my KICK ASS friends and family I have gotten the patent pending, manufacturing, and packaging all ready to go. But, to make this dream come true I do need just a little more help. If you're diggin' on this little gadget and would like to be a part of making Bottoms Up available to all, please go to my contact page and click the Kickstarter button on To be announched (pacific standard time). You can watch the video of Bottoms up at work, donate any amount and receive your very own Bottoms Up (after it funds), and share and spread the word. Also check out my Thank You page where I give credit to those KICK ASS people who helped! Anything you can do to help me bring Bottoms Up to the world is absolutely welcomed and appreciated. Thanks! Patent pending!
