Personal Best Swim Shop Personal Best Swim Shop has been our family-owned business since 1998. How did they ever get involved in swimming? So the entire family became a swimming family.

The owners, Nancy and Vern, have been involved with the sport of swimming for thirty years, first as a swim parents and then as owners of Personal Best Swim Shop. Their oldest son, Mike, had severe asthma as a child and the doctor recommended that he start swimming. Their son’s doctor advised them that warm, moist air is better for the lungs than dry, cold air and swimming increases lung capacity.

Thirty years later, the family is still involved with swimming. Their sons, Mike and John, each manage one of the two retail locations.
