I’m looking for photos of the Wisdom Ring out in the world… If you have one of my Wisdom Rings in silver or gold, and you don’t mind sharing a photo for me to use possibly for my website, socials, or in my store- please send a photo! Here is a photo of my hand, along with my dear friend Leah’s (who was one of the original designers of what was then called the Women’s Wisdom Ring).

Quick video of this lotus flower necklace, hand carved and cast in 18k for a warm, lux color. Set with client’s vibrant emerald that was heavily damaged from years in a ring. If you look closely it is still visible, but I was glad to give this stone a new life!
When I set a client’s gemstone, I can’t guarantee that it won’t be broken by setting, especially when it already has visible damage. Sometimes a pre-worn stone has internal fissures that cause a surprise break, and emeralds are notoriously brittle even when new. However, I have a light touch when setting stones and a great track record (as in -knock on wood- I have never broken a client’s gem. Only my own 😆)
I’m not currently taking new custom work, as I’m trying to catch up to my current and patiently waiting clients projects! Running the store is leaving me less time for actual creative work than I need- but I’m in the process of making changes and look forward to opening up my schedule again before toooo long! 💚 🪷

A huge congratulations to Hillary Lindsay and Anthony Christiano on your engagement!!! I’ve been waiting patiently to be able to post these photos, and am so proud to share this absolute stunner of a custom ring! Thank you both for the opportunity of creating this beautiful engagement ring for you!
Designed around a family heirloom diamond, I hand-carved the trees to fit exactly around the band and diamond to make it feel nestled in the branches. One of the aspects of custom work I love best is putting intentions into all my carvings… thinking about the person or couple, their energy and vision for the ring, and doing my best to bring those into the final piece.

Father’s Day flashback! Not many people have made their parents’ wedding rings… these are a re-imagining (using the same gold!) of my parents original rings, which both no longer fit and were too large for their current sensibilities. We’re talking 70s large, almost comically large… and neither had worn them for years.

I worked with my parents to keep aspects of the original design while creating rings with individual flair. My dad passed several years ago, and I have his ring. I haven’t felt like it was the right time to do anything with it, but that is starting to change.

Working with shifting energies is part of being a custom jeweler… sometimes it’s a celebratory shift, sometimes it’s a letting go, sometimes it’s a remembering. Bearing witness to these moments as I design and make jewelry for people is an important and cherished part of my job. I don’t work in this way for myself often, but when I do its with the same thought, intention, and empathy I give others. What a blessing! I’ll share what I make with my dad’s ring when it comes into being. ❤️
