HOBONICHI FAQ - everything to know before preorders open tonight!
Q: Weeks or HON, which do I choose?
A: The Weeks is compact and slim, great for popping into a tote or bag. Week overview on the right and a blank grid on the left for notes. HON is a but larger (A6 or A5), and better for more complicated schedules and daily note taking.
Q: Can I order for shipping now?
A: We are first and foremost a neighborhood shop, so tonight’s preorders are for local pick up only. If we have not sold out by Thu Sep 3, we will allow shipping.
Q: What if my favorite style sells out?
A: That might happen. If it does, there may be a second opportunity to bring in more Techos in October, though we cannot guarantee the styles or inventory.
Q: Why are they so expensive.
A: Fair question. The paper, the flexible and thoughtful layout, and the craftsmanship has earned Hobonichi Techo a loyal global following. They are also made and shipped from Japan so tariffs (🤬), shipping, and distributor fees add to the cost.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order?
A: Yes, as long as we have the style in stock and BEFORE your order is shipped or prepared for pick up. Once the order is finalized, there are nonrefunds or exchanges for dated planners.
