The dialogue started during a lunch with my grandson. "My room is being repainted, and Mom said to get it organized". A perfect opportunity to help and connect with an awesome teen. First goal was to work on his reach in closet filled with toys no longer used. My grandson had no problem letting go. He was ready. The process was going smooth. Only one frequent comment...."Wondered where that went. I was looking all over the house for it"!! After the third comment, my grandson understood the value of the process....stay tuned for more as the journey continues!!!

Our team is busy helping seniors move into their new 55+ active adult communities in Bergen County. Can you imagine moving into a new home and have every household item unpacked and organized by professional organizers. It's the way to go!

I took an amazing NAPO teleclass on "Downsizing with Senior Clients". Margit Novack was the presenter. The course content was filled with different scenarios and strategies for helping seniors make decisons. Excited to use this information as we continue to help seniors downsize and move to their new residences.-- Dorothy Frischman
