Feeling a little nostalgic today. 🔙
The Chieftain Motel in Oklahoma City was built in 1954, and this classic vintage neon motel sign stood tall in OKC for more than 50 years.
I took the Chieftain sign down in 2015 and replaced it with a new sign.
Looking back, this is definitely one Oklahoma sign I wish I would have kept — or at least the topper!

Another sign brought to life and installed!

This sign was built with precision in mind — clean, crisp construction, perfectly straight LED light strips, and a sleek halo-lit finish that gives the sign that polished, high-end look.

We were honored to build and install this sign for PSA Salon Suites— a luxury salon suite concept built around giving beauty professionals a space that’s truly their own.

PSA was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we’re grateful to be a small part of bringing their vision to life.

From the salon chair to the storefront S&J Beauty & Barber is looking sharp!

Meet Curtis.

He’s been doing signs long enough to have the routine down to an art:

Get on the ladder.
Install the sign.
Wipe it down.
Step back.
Give it the once-over.

👉 “Looks good, Bryan. We’re good to go.” 😂

And before you know it, Curtis has the ladder in his hands and is headed straight for the A/C.

We had the pleasure of creating these custom halo lit channel letters and they turned out sharp!

Another one of my dad’s signs, and another piece of Oklahoma history.

This Snyder’s Foods / IGA Discount sign was one of the many signs my dad built during his career. What began as Yukon IGA in 1961 grew into a beloved independent grocery chain with multiple locations, becoming a familiar name to generations of Oklahomans before the family business was eventually sold.

I love looking back at photos like this because they preserve more than a sign—they preserve a moment in time. Businesses change, signs come and go, but the craftsmanship, the stories, and the legacy my dad left behind will always be something I’m proud to share.
