Did You Know This About Forenta?

Did you know that today, August 26th, marks the 65th anniversary of the day that the first piece of finishing equipment was produced in our Morristown, Tennessee plant?

That’s right - Forse’s Anderson, Indiana plant had produced its last piece of equipment on July 21st, and in a short 5-week period, the Forenta plant was up and running as a contract manufacturer for the Forse Corporation.

It seems very fitting that the first piece was one of our famous fastback legger presses - a model 47MLR.
Alright, alright... if you must know, the serial number was 8MLR1-61-47.

The technology that operates the equipment has changed, and the skillset needed to manufacture the equipment has changed. But what hasn’t changed is Forenta’s commitment to provide you with the most productive equipment in the industry.

Did you know that Forenta is the only machinery manufacturer in the drycleaning industry who manufactures both pressing equipment and garment conveyors in the SAME facility?!

If you ever get the privilege to walk through our 88,000 square foot facility in Morristown, Tennessee, you will see an incredible variety of assembly areas, frame welding areas, and even paint booths!

Since each area has its own dedicated parts bins, tools, and assembly carts, we can be flexible when customer demand shifts from one model to the next. We simply shift our trained assemblers and welders to the area where they are needed the most.

That’s right; if you are doing the math, that’s 57 years! 🤯

Did you know that Forenta plays a small part in the Guarding of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier?

That’s right, the Old Guard soldiers who meticulously guard the tomb at Arlington National Cemetery are stationed at nearby Fort Myer Army Base. And guess what pressing equipment they use for their uniforms? Forenta presses. Of course, not just any Forenta press, but the best press on the market – the Forenta Fastback Press.
