Old things have a way of slowing you down.
A cup of tea in a delicate floral cup, the soft glow of an old lamp, the sound of a ticking clock in the corner… it all feels quieter somehow. Softer.

I think that’s part of why I love thrifting and antiquing so much. It isn’t only about finding pretty things. It’s about bringing a little more warmth, comfort, and nostalgia into everyday life.
