Dinner with some pretty amazing women…..true industry greats. ✨

Women who have built rich lives, chased audacious dreams, and continued to cheer one another on every step of the way.

After 30 years in this industry, I’m still inspired by the creativity, wisdom, and experience around this table. Fashion may have brought us together, but friendship, connection, and genuine support are what make these moments so meaningful.

Hang with women who lift you up….and always be the woman who does the same for someone else. 🤍

I stopped following these 5 style rules after 50—and getting dressed has never felt more like me.

Personal style after 50 isn’t about dressing younger or ignoring every fashion trend. It’s about knowing yourself well enough to choose what truly works for your body, your lifestyle and the woman you are today.

I’m no longer:

• Saving my favorite pieces for someday
• Letting my age decide what’s appropriate
• Buying something simply because it’s trending
• Wearing outfits that don’t work for my real life
• Being afraid to experiment and play with fashion

The best part of midlife style is the freedom to refine your wardrobe. You can borrow from the trends, try something unexpected and still make every outfit completely your own.

Wear the good things. Choose comfort without giving up style. Play with color, texture and shape. Your everyday life is worthy of a beautiful outfit—and fashion should still feel fun after 50.

Which style rule are you ready to stop following?

Save this for your next closet edit and share it with a woman who is ready to dress more like herself.

Travel essentials aren’t always about how much you bring. Sometimes, they’re about choosing the right pieces so you can carry less and experience more.

For me, the perfect travel outfit starts with a comfortable jacket, easy denim and the Hammitt Charles Crossbody……keeping everything I need close while leaving my hands free, especially when Teddy wants to explore.

Because the best part of traveling isn’t the packing or creating the perfect outfit. It’s being present for the moments you came to experience: walking an unfamiliar beach, stopping to take in the view, feeling the sun on your face and letting your dog lead the way for a little while.

At this stage of life, I want my clothing and accessories to make living easier—not weigh me down. The right travel essentials give us the freedom to move, wander and hold on to what truly matters.

Teddy, my Charles Crossbody and a beautiful place to explore. Sometimes, that’s everything I need.

What is the one travel essential you never leave home without?

Fashion after 50 doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

It doesn’t always have to be all the bling, all the jewelry and all the things. Sometimes personal style is simply about comfort…how something fits your body, moves with you and makes you feel as you show up for your real life.

Not every outfit needs to make a statement. Some are meant for school runs, errands, coffee stops, time with our children and all those ordinary moments that end up meaning the most.

Today, I’m showing up in my favorite jacket. It’s comfortable, familiar and easy to live in…and it feels like me.

Because style isn’t only about dressing for the big moments. It’s also about honoring the everyday ones.

The everyday moments are worthy of showing up for. And comfort can still be beautiful.

Do you allow yourself to feel intimidated by other women?

Do you quietly compare yourself…..the way she looks, the way she dresses, her confidence, her success…..and begin to see her as competition?

Or can you look at her as inspiration?

I think there is a beautiful shift that happens when we stop believing another woman’s light somehow dims our own. Her creativity doesn’t take away from yours. Her beauty doesn’t lessen yours. Her success doesn’t mean there is less opportunity available for you.

Other women can be our teachers, our encouragers, our inspiration, and even our co-creators.

We can admire the way another woman puts herself together without needing to become her. We can learn from her confidence while continuing to develop our own. We can celebrate what she has created and allow it to awaken something new within us.

There is room for all of us to be seen.
There is room for all of us to succeed.
There is room for every woman to express herself in her own beautiful way.

Maybe the goal isn’t to be the most interesting woman in the room.

Maybe it’s to recognize what is interesting in every woman…and let that inspire you to bring more of yourself into the room, too.

Women over 50: stop shrinking your style to make other people comfortable.

Too colorful.
Too bold.
Too young.
Too different.

How many times have we edited ourselves because of what someone else might think?

Fashion after 50 isn’t about blending in or following every trend. It’s about finally knowing yourself-and having the confidence to dress like her.

The most iconic women experiment. They repeat what they love. They create signature looks. And eventually, they become unmistakably themselves.

Personal style was never meant to be a group decision.

Maybe the woman you’re becoming doesn’t need permission. Maybe she simply needs you to stop shrinking her.

Save this for the next time you question the outfit…and share it with a woman who is ready to be seen.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we show up for our own lives, especially as we move through our 50s.

For me, it’s become less about chasing perfection and more about being intentional.

It’s in the food we choose to nourish ourselves with.
It’s in paying attention to our health and listening when our bodies are asking for something different.
It’s in the way we get dressed—not because we have somewhere important to go, but because our everyday life is important enough to show up for.

Fashion after 50 isn’t about trying to look younger or following every trend. It’s about knowing yourself a little better. Wearing what makes you feel confident, interesting, feminine, comfortable… whatever feels like you.

And maybe that’s what this season of life is really about.

Taking care of ourselves because we value the life we’re living. Setting the table. Making the good meal. Moving our bodies. Wearing the outfit. Spraying the perfume. Calling the friend. Stepping outside to watch the sunset.

Not saving the good things for someday.

Because life doesn’t become less worthy of our attention as we get older. If anything, I think we understand its value more.

How we show up matters. And I want to keep showing up for all of it.shorter. this

Bethenny Frankel has nothing on my chicken salad… and I stand by that.

Fresh dill, crunchy celery, diced cucumber, a little onion, a shake of garlic powder and red pepper flakes, finished with everything bagel seasoning… the kind of recipe that started as “just for us” and became a whole personality.

Pile it high on a flaky croissant, add a glass of something cold, and call it a Monday.

Recipe’s coming your way… stay tuned.

Sundays are for champagne and croissants… and the bag that somehow feels like the zero carb solution.

This is the kind of morning I build a whole week around. Slow, golden, unhurried.
