How BOLD, how DISCONNECTED, and frankly how UNJUSTIFIED.

You oppose IVF due to the “‘massive destruction of embryonic life”. Yet the NIH has studies showing natural human reproduction results in 10-40% pre-implantation embryo loss and a 40-60% total loss from fertilization to birth.

The amount of people in society who still think getting pregnant and carrying a pregnancy to term and giving birth to healthy, living baby is astounding.

I have PCOS. 5-6 MILLION women in the US alone have PCOS. 80% of women with PCOS have anovulatory infertility. Although widely still unknown, recent experimental research and clinical observations suggest PCOS originates in the very early stages of development, possibly even during intrauterine life. To this day, there is no cure. I cannot have a child without the assistance of medical intervention.

I understand that your opposition is your opinion. I wouldn’t mind if your opposition stayed as an opinion. We are justified in having different views and walking different paths. But the attack on reproduction is relentless. Emergency abortion care, access to contraception, and now fertility treatments. It is exhausting when people who will never walk in our shoes get to pave our path.
