Our Story
For those of you who don't know us yet, I'd like to take a minute and share with you the most important reason why I started my own boutique 💜(Because there are MANY, but this is the most important to my heart)
You're probably guessing it's my 4 sweet little boys, while they are one of the many other reasons, my most important WHY is for John.
I'm not sure where to begin. John and I have been best friends for 17 years. In this time, he's ALWAYS been supportive. ALWAYS.
Now, theres NOTHING in my life that i can tell you for certain I've always done. Except wake up every day.
But john always supports me. He loves me. He cares for me. He protects me. He provides for me. ❤
When we met, John was a marine. He lived in NC, and I in PA. When the weekend came and he had his 72 hours of freedom, he would spend 24 of those hours driving from NC to PA so we could spend time together. He did this for months until we could be together.
When the time came, and we were finally married, John took a job as a coal miner.
For the past 12 years John has worked a swing shift that changes weekly. 6 days a week. Only having sunday off, and once a month having to go right back out that sunday night for a midnight shift.
His body is tired. He misses so much with our boys. Things that fathers shouldn't have to miss out on. Time is so precious, and something you can't ever get back and all of his is spent underground, alone in the dark.
While we are VERY BLESSED to have this job that provides us a lifestyle to feed our family, and own a home, a vehicle, health insurance and all of life's necessities. As I get older I realize none of this is as important as having him home.
Home at the dinner table. Home to sit on the couch with. Home, to play football in the yard. Having him here to talk with the boys, or go fishing with, or to have the freedom of choosing one of our four boys to go out on a date together. ALONE.
One on one time with Dad. I'm bawling, because this is such a simple request, but in our life it's almost impossible.
Our oldest has been BEGGING dad to take him to a store that's not open on sundays for almost 3 full months. We just don't have the time during the week. Don't forget one week of afternoon shift, one week of midnights and the ever so coveted DAY SHIFT ❤ the one week a month where we can pretend we are a real family.
John is my why. I'm bringing him home.
I'm working to bring john home to our boys.
I LOVE This group of women. I love everything about it. I love being a part of the sisterhood we have created.
I love that I can give women the same confidence just by helping them find the perfect outfit. I love to make women look and feel beautiful, and I love that with this boutique we were actually given the possibility of bringing my husband home to his family. AND WE DID! John’s been home working FULL TIME with the boutique for two years now! Our four boys couldn’t be happier!!
If you've made it this far, I want to thank you. From the deepest part of my soul I want to THANK YOU for being here and being a part of MY journey. I want to thank you for the support you are giving me, it honestly means the world to me. Because my family is my world. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. ❤ ❤
