To consider how love, joy, and peace might bloom in your life is to recognize that not being able to figure it all out at once doesn't mean you can't sow meaningful seeds in your life right now. Like a pocketful of seeds in a garden, you are free to examine your potential. You are free to choose what to cultivate. Ask yourself: What season is it? What do I need to nourish these seeds? What seeds need more rain? Which ones need shade? Sunlight?
Sometimes, sowing seeds of 'love' might look like giving your heart time to heal, and it might mean learning what 'love' means beyond what you thought it would be. Letting the rain pour in and letting a new definition in.
At times, sowing seeds of 'joy' might be quiet and subtly blooming, like hydrangeas, growing in the shade.
There might be times when seeds of 'peace' are blooming out in the sunlight like wildflowers, ever-present as you move through the day, learning to breathe deep and carry on, anyway.
Give yourself space to consider what kind of seeds you'd like to sow and where you can sow them. - Morgan Harper Nichols
