In honor of the release of the final season of Netflix’s Outer Banks, we’re having a little fun to suggest what Sully & Co gear our favorite Kooks and Pogues would be sporting around Kildare Island.
We’ve loved watching this show and seeing the beauty of the Lowcountry spotlighted. It’s also been fun seeing some filming and spotting the cast and crew around Old Village and Shem Creek.
John B — The Island Trucker
Out on the boat or driving Tw***ie around the Cut, he doesn’t have time to break in anything new. The Island Trucker already looks worn in and is the perfect fit.
Ward Cameron — Deep Harbor Navy Polo
Ward’s just as put together on the boat as he is at the dinner table. Deep Harbor Navy holds up for both.
Sarah Cameron — Ben Sawyer Tee
She’s got Cameron money and Pogue loyalty. The Ben Sawyer is easy, but put together. Named for the bridge that slows you down right before you hit the timeless charm of Sullivan’s Island.
Topper — Dockside Polo
Nationally ranked surfer, country club legacy, boat shoes even when he’s not on a boat. Dockside’s trim fit and clean stripe look just as good at home on the dock as it does at the club.
Pope Heyward — Island Map Tee
He’s the one who studies the map before anyone else thinks to. A tee with the whole island laid out on the back fits the guy who always knows exactly where they stand.
Rafe Cameron — Tidebreak Polo
He’s always trying to look like the next Cameron in charge. Tidebreak’s calm stripe does the job for him. It’s put together even when he isn’t.
Kiara — The Poe Corduroy Snapback
Caught between her Kook childhood and Pogue instincts, The Poe Snapback has that vintage-washed corduroy that plays both elevated and casual.
