Well let me start by saying thank you Mt Sterling. So many of you have been truly supportive throughout my business ventures. I just want everyone to know that each and every customer is appreciated and your friendships are valued, and cherished beyond words. With that said it is with heavy heart that I have to confirm the rumors… The Mad Hatter will be closing soon. Unfortunately the building has been sold to new owners and we were unable to reach an agreeable way to move forward. The Mad Hatter will be open for normal business for the next few weeks..February 10th will be our last day. It breaks my heart that I won’t be seeing so many of you as frequently as before, I hate that Mt. Sterling is losing a business that I feel brought so many people together, and really good food I hope. I know deep down that I will be back in some way or another.. can’t get rid of me that easy! In the meantime we have years worth of “stuff” that’s accumulated. We will immediately begin liquidation of merchandise, supplies, furniture, appliances etc.. Details will be posted soon.
