I'm getting back into the swing of things and can't believe it's been two weeks since our class at Burnley & Trowbridge Company! It was so much fun getting to meet everyone and going through all the nitty gritty details together.

If you missed this one, we plan to do another one in Virginia next summer.

If you're interested in having me come teach a class near you (not just for stays) reach out and maybe we can get something on the books for 2027!

It's official—The #83 Checked Linen is now live and available on the site!

This medium weight linen is perfect for 18th century shirts, aprons, childrens gowns, petticoats, stays linings, home dec and even thought it's dated to 1771, honestly would be great for any era.

This is a very limited run so once I'm out of it... It's gone!

I'm gonna make an apron for sure :)

ADVICE NEEDED: Someone has copied my Élise cap pattern and has taken the time to make it look like their own, then selling them on eBay. I've not had to deal with this before and honestly don't know what steps to take.

At first I thought it had to be a coincidence but seeing my pattern side by side with theirs, there is no doubt 🥺

The buyer alerted me and then contacted the seller (GeorgeRoseLLC) with the side-by-sides. The seller has doubled down— stating that she's been selling *this* pattern for 20+ years (but did take the pattern down from eBay after the message). Whereas I have evidence of the seller ordering the digital pattern from my Etsy store in 2023.

Photo side-by-sides:
• Printed layout is the same
• Cutting layout is the same
• They left the same font & size of the fold & grainlines in some of the pieces.
• They also have another pattern where they copied an American Duchess pattern on the site.

What do I need to do to protect myself and my patterns? I've not contacted them or eBay yet.

Any help is appreciated!

Woohoo! This big pattern shipment has been in USPS limbo in Indianapolis since June 14th. But good news is I can start sending out Minette Stays soon!

If you're looking to add to your shipment- send me an email soon to let me know and I'll hold your Minettes until you put your order in for combined shipping— just do it soon because I leave for vacation this weekend.
