Have you found your mama tribe yet? It can be so difficult when we are juggling a million things every day. I made a commitment to myself to find experiences and my mama tribe this year.

This past weekend, the group chat made it out to Harper’s Ferry! The weather was a dream - overcast and breezy, the company was full of laughter and fun, and it was the best experience for my little crew.

Shout out to Shaneice | Solo Mom Adventures & Travel with Kids for planning an epic adventure! We will be back at HarpersFerryAdventureCenter for another trip soon enough!

There are so many amazing things about being apart of this sisterhood of Rhea Lana’s.

At the top of the list is what I call new owner pledge classes. The bond begins when you spend a week together learning how to run the business. But it’s solidified the weeks, months, and years after via group texts and in person at conference each year.

My training was really small (just myself and one other owner), but I’m incredibly fortunate to have been adopting by another group (or two 🥰). Literally wouldn’t be able to do this without each of the people in these photos.

Ultimately, who can walk into a room full of at least 40 owners straight off the plane with tears running down your cheeks to many of them coming to run to say hi but then to be enveloped in big hugs which made me cry even harder! This sisterhood is so very special. I’m honored to be among incredibly strong and talented women.

This conference was one for the books! Now it’s time to put all the ideas in to place for our fall sale.

The community we are continuing to build at Rhea Lana’s of Falls Church is really special. Last night, at the annual Rhea Lana’s Owner Conference, I was awarded 3 very special awards. To be recognized for the tireless hours preparing for each event, the every day hustle, and the incredible growth that our consignors, shoppers, and community partners have helped make possible is truly humbling.

These awards may have my name on them, but they belong to every family, consignor, shopper, and supporter who has been part of this journey. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us create a community that serves local families in such a meaningful way. I’m grateful and more excited than ever for what’s ahead.
