Today’s the day. Stop by and say goodbye. We will pop some champs around 3pm but will be in the store all day to remind everyone how thankful we are to have been a part of this wonderful Village and community. Good things to come. Just hold on.

Our last day will be tomorrow. Henry Ellis is ready for Poppy to retire and spoil him. From our entire family, thank you for many years of friendship and patronage. We hope we left a lasting impression on this Village and hope the next chapter for this space will be even more monumental. Stop in and say hello. Happy 4th and remember to honor our freedom as we move toward a wonderful Holiday for our country.

Let’s discuss this wonderful location. Our store has been here over 60 years. I see this corner as one of the best and most visible storefronts in the state of Alabama. The inside has been recently remodeled and the layout is ideal for different store scenarios with plenty of storage, backstock and offices. We are entertaining all offers by Friday. We are now looking for a lease takeover and a goodwill payment and it’s yours. I’ll hand you the key and everything that’s in the store to open a store. POS system, handmade clothing racks, black wooden hangers, merchandise ticketing system, display items, mannequins, a very well known name (VillageSportsear) dressing rooms with curtains and architectural accents in the building that otherwise I am taking. I’m sure there’s more but it’s all there. Without much effort, this store can generate easily in the high 6 figures. We saw most years in the 7 figures. The traffic alone is enough to generate a successful store. The parking is better than most in the village as there is space on Petticoat and Montevallo. See you in The Village.
