ISHI? After Hours!

After hours… our store turns into a dance studio. Iyishia and Whittney incorporate various dance techniques into their fitness routine. This week they use a Horton Sequence also known as Coccyx Balance, a floor exercise focused on strengthening abdominal muscles.

Now Brittney—11 weeks post baby and ready to get her pre-baby body back—decided she was joining in 👀

Let’s see how this turns out…

💡: Coccyx balancing involves lying flat, engaging the abs, and lifting the legs and upper body in a controlled manner. The sequence includes variations with holds and extensions, and can be repeated for a more intense workout.

2 Dancers & a Model

Many have asked, so here’s the backstory… 👀

Yes, Iyishia and Whittney are dancers—and not just any dancers. They’ve been dancing together for years. In fact, Iyishia was Whittney’s very first dance instructor. 💃🏽✨

It’s nothing to catch them in the middle of ISHI? barefoot, hitting pirouettes, pliés, or even full-out leaps across the floor (because real dancers know… wood floors are everything!!!).

Now Brittney is a professional model… well, she “thinks” she’s a dancer and has been known to crash a rehearsal or two. (Showing up in a ball gown and flip-flops) 😅

This week, Whittney is stepping into her choreography era and putting together a brand new routine…
